"Quiz me on this"
Ask Onhand to quiz you and it writes questions from the page you have open, each tied to a highlighted passage. Answer in the side panel; if you're stuck, its hints point you back to the evidence instead of giving the answer away.
Learning mode: a tutor in the margin
Turn on Learning at the bottom of the side panel and Onhand teaches instead of just answering:
- It asks a guiding question about the passage before it explains.
- It checks what you remember after an explanation.
- On homework-style problems, it helps you work through the steps instead of handing you the final answer. Turn Learning off when you want the answer itself.
- A This session panel lists the concepts you've covered and the questions still open, with links back to where each came from.
Study materials from your reading
Ask for flashcards, a summary or a formula sheet from the page, and Onhand makes it from that material. With your lecture slides and textbook open in different tabs, it can draw on both.
